Tonight on Friends & Fiction
Lucky us! We have TWO fabulous author guests this week! Meet John Hart, the author of six New York Times bestsellers that have been translated into thirty languages and can be found in over seventy countries. The only author in history to win the Edgar Award for consecutive novels, John has also won the Barry Award, the Southern Independent Bookseller’s Award for Fiction, the Ian Fleming Steel Dagger Award, the Southern Book Prize and the North Carolina Award for Literature. He joins us to talk about his latest novel set in the South at the height of the Vietnam War, THE UNWILLING (released in February by @St. Martin’s Press). We will also welcome acclaimed Southern mystery master and high school English teacher, Christopher Swann. Swann has been a Townsend Prize finalist, longlisted for the Southern Book Prize, and twice been a finalist for a Georgia Author of the Year award. He joins us to talk about his latest novel, his third, A FIRE IN THE NIGHT, released this fall by Crooked Lane Books.
I’m hosting tonight and hope to see you there on Facebook or YouTube!
