Happy October, everyone! We are in celebration mode over at our house because 1. It’s little Will’s third birthday!! (Woo hoo!)
2. I finished my next book yesterday! Finally… My goal was to finish it in September. I’m pretty sure I wrapped it all up about 11 p.m. last night. But if I hadn’t given myself a deadline it would have been January. So I’m calling it a win.
3. My talented, adorable, super generous and smart friend, Ann Wertz Garvin, is doing a special giveaway just for us! YAY! I’m going to write more about her amazing novel, The Dog Year, tomorrow. (And for a few days after because I have a LOT to say about this beautiful novel!) But, since it’s a day of grand, three-year-old celebration, I’m going to keep it short today.
