Good morning, readers! Are you so excited for Thanksgiving? We are! Truth be told, we aren’t cooking this year, per se. We aren’t totally back in our house yet, so it wasn’t in the cards this year. Even still, we can’t wait to have both sides of the family together to celebrate. (And eat pie. Obviously.)
The problem with not cooking Thanksgiving? No leftover turkey! So my sweet husband is remedying that and cooking one anyway so we can have turkey and rice and turkey sandwiches and all that good stuff. It isn’t Thanksgiving without leftovers!

NC Bookwatch:
Last week I had the distinct pleasure of filming for one of my favorite shows, North Carolina Bookwatch! It was my very first interview about FEELS LIKE FALLING and made it all seem very real. UNC-TV produces some of the most spectacular content, and host DG Martin is a wonderful interviewer–and person. I can’t wait to tell you all about it and will definitely let you know when it airs!
Even better, I got to hang out with my friends Cassandra King Conroy and Mary Alice Monroe, who were also filming on location at Isothermal Community College’s incredible studio, at the reception afterward. So fun!
I hope it goes without saying that I am beyond thankful and grateful for each and every one of you. You make me smile every day!
