Happy Easter, sweet friends! I hope the bunny was good to you. Little Will painted this one for me as a special Easter treat. It’s a little abstract, but that’s good since I’m such a lover of modern art… Haha! We’ve been up to our ears in Easter egg hunts and chocolate bunnies. So much so that it slipped my mind that ONE MONTH from today DEAR CAROLINA will be out in the world. Oh my!
Will got the new Rainbow flip flops he asked the Easter Bunny for yesterday. Thank goodness we went to a hunt yesterday and ran into him so he could make that request! He wasn’t super into his bunny sunglasses and told my dad the Easter bunny must have brought them for him! So, Dad wore Easter bunny, light-up glasses around for most of the morning. If you know him, this does not surprise you.
The Easter bunny also brought camouflage eggs but failed to realize the package very specifically warned not to fill them with candy. Fortunately, money is always a good back-up plan. We made sure to count all of the eggs we died this year to make sure we found them all after our little mishap last year with the exterminator nearly ripping out the walls thinking we had a (LARGE) dead animal in there.
