Happy Saturday, dear readers! Today, I was supposed to be at Zia Boutique in Wilmington, NC for Books + Bloody Marys with my friend Zelle Wiggins, to discuss Feels Like Falling. For obvious reasons, we cancelled the event, but, thanks to technology, we were able be in conversation anyway! Zelle, who is the founder of Southern Style Blog, and I discussed my new book, becoming unlikely bloggers and how influencer culture has affected our careers. (We also talked about our favorite Netflix and Hulu shows, her dog… Basically, we had a lot of fun!) Listen along with us! Signed copies of Feels Like Falling are available from Zia Boutique!
Feels Like Falling virtual events are ramping up! Tomorrow I’ll be with Page 158 Books in Wake Forest, NC, Monday, with Fountain Bookshop in Virginia, and Tuesday is the big, official launch of Feels Like Falling with the Southern Independent Booksellers Association! I’ll be in conversation with Lisa Wingate! For details, registration, and more events, visit my virtual tour page!
Feels Like Falling officially launches this Tuesday, April 28, and it’s:
A Spring 2020 Okra Pick
Parade’s 20 Most Anticipated Books of Early 2020
SheKnows’ 10 of the Most Anticipated Books Coming in 2020
Mary Kay Andrews’ Reading Challenge Women’s Fiction Pick
Working Mother’s 20 Most Anticipated Books of 2020 for Working Moms
From “the next major voice in Southern fiction” (Elin Hilderbrand) and the bestselling author of the Peachtree Bluff series comes an odd-couple tale of friendship that asks just how much our past choices define our happiness.
I’d be so grateful if you checked it out!
Wishing you much success for book release week!
