Hi, friends! First, I just have to give each and every one of you a big virtual hug. SLIGHTLY SOUTH OF SIMPLE and THE SECRET TO SOUTHERN CHARM continue to soar because of you, and I so appreciate your suggesting them for you book clubs, recommending them to your friends and inviting me to your events! Speaking of events… I *said* I was going to take a break after my big 5-week tour was over, but, well, sometimes a girl just can’t help herself when she has a chance to go out and see the coolest readers in the world. So take a peek at a few of my favorite upcoming events! I would love to see you there!
So, first things first, next week is going to be EPIC all the way around. One of my favorite events of the year is the Old Homes Tour & More with the Beaufort Historical Association in Beaufort, NC. I have the pleasure of serving on this fabulous board and getting to help a bit with the revamp of this already awesome event. So, head on down to Beaufort and see Mary Alice Monroe and me on Wednesday, June 20 at the Coral Bay Club! We’ll be chatting and sharing about our latest books. FYI, her latest BEACH HOUSE REUNION debuted at #4 on the NYT Bestseller List! You won’t want to miss that. Tickets available from etix or by calling 252.728.5225
For more of Mary Alice, join us for a VIP dinner at Beaufort Grocery Company on Wednesday night. Six courses and six wine pairings at my favorite restaurant? Not missing that for the world! Come on down. You can sit at my table!
Then, Thursday morning, Mary Alice and I will be heading to Raleigh, NC to Quail Ridge Books at 11 am to talk books and other fun things at one of my favorite bookstores. I haven’t had a Raleigh event yet for this book, so I’m very excited!
On Sunday morning, one of my most favorite interior designers (and people!) will be presenting about his work all over the world in an exquisite setting–the garden of one of Beaufort’s most beautiful homes. Scarborough Fare, the best caterer, will be doing the cooking so you can keep your dishes clean! Don’t miss the chance to meet this world-famous decorator. He is as entertaining as he charming. Get your tickets here or call BHA!
Don’t miss out on these great events!
