So, I’m not totally sure that “Press for Champagne” really counts as Monday’s inspirational quote. But, it feels like a little bit of a celebration week with Dear Carolina tucked in tight all the way in NYC and mere weeks away from being actually printed. We drank quite a bit of it this weekend, but, I can’t really get enough bubbles. And that’s the great thing about writing a book. There are millions of tiny “celebrations” along the way. Lots and lots of champagne excuses! (And prosecco, obviously!)
I have long thought that I needed a “Press for Champagne” button at my house, but it wasn’t until my super sweet friend Stacy from South Shore Decorating told me that this button could be mine from Lisa Golightly’s Etsy shop! (Side note: If your name is “Golightly” it follows that you would make something fabulous like “Press for Champagne” buttons for a living!!) I think I’m finally going to pull the trigger, but now I have to figure out where to put my button… Probably at the beach since I have a bit more champagne time down there. But I’ll keep you posted.
It’s going to be a fun and busy week this week, and I’m excited about having one project behind me and some fun new ones (that I can’t wait to tell you all about!) in the works.
