Happy 2024, friends! Can you believe it’s 2024? I still feel like Y2K was about a minute ago. (And, 24 years later, am still always a little concerned that, as the ball drops, all the electricity is going to go out and we’ll be back to the Dark Ages…) Anyway, the thing I get asked very most by readers is about my writing and publishing process. So I decided this year to create this 4-part series where anyone who is interested can learn more about my writing process and how I got published. (Part 4, I’ll be taking YOUR questions! So drop a comment, an email, a DM, whatever, and I’ll answer it then!)
Here’s my caveat: These are not necessarily tips! This isn’t a how-to guide. One of the things I have learned from writing is that there is no “right” way. There is only your way. And discovering your way is what’s most important! Discovering how other writers get from Point A to Point B has been hugely instructive for me, and it is my great hope that something in these videos is helpful or inspiring to you in your own writing journey, either as something you’d like to try or something you know you’ll never try! But, if not, tune in later when I share some of my favorite writing and publishing resources!

A coming of age story, it is a reminder of those memories from our childhood and/or teenaged years that might have been seemingly small but have an outsized place in their influence or memory.
